Features & Benefits

  • Clear glass appearance - solid polycarbonate
  • UV-Protection - long lasting and comfortable
  • Complete canopy kit - all parts are included
  • Strong and rust-resistant - extruded aluminium
  • Highly durable - powder-coated finish
  • Reduces work on site - everything cut-to-size
  • Maintenance-free - no annual painting
  • Concealed guttering - integrated gutter system
  • 10 Year Guarantee - manufacturer's warranty

A favourite feature of Evolution canopy is its unique integrated gutter. The eaves beam supports the glazing bars at the front, and also collects rainwater from the roof and transfers it into the support posts. Rainwater then exists through the feet. A fully concealed gutter system, which proves that rain management doesn’t have to be ugly.

Ordering a Canopy Made Easy

We calculate the sheet width, number of glazing bars, and quantity of posts based on the roof size you order. So you don't have to. Enough posts are supplied to fit at each end of eaves beam, with maximum space of 3m between posts. End posts can be positioned up to 500mm in from end of eaves beam.

Fitting and Usage

Fitting the Glass-Like Evolution Canopy Roof Kit

Evolution is design for ease of installation, as will be recognised in the following summary. Due to the size of the product, it is advised that two people carry out the installation.

Prepare the Eaves Beam

  • First fit and seal End Caps, then drill a hole in position with chosen Support Post for water outlet, and cover with Leaf Guard.
  • Position Support Posts on underside of the Eaves Beam and screw fix to front and back face.

Fit the Wall Plate

  • Mark desired position on host wall,
  • Drill masonry fixing pilot holes through back of Wall Plate.
  • Apply a bead of silicone along the back to act as a water barrier along the wall.
  • Raise to position and fix using supplied masonry screws.

Construct the Canopy

  • Fix a Gable Bar between Wall Plate and Eaves Beam on either side. To allow adjustment, use only one fixing for now.
  • Fit a roof sheet into one of the Gable Bars, and then add an intermediate Glazing Bar to the opposite edge of the sheet, and engage in Wall Plate.
  • Repeat process along the width. The end Gable Bar can be removed temporarily to allow the last sheet and bar to be fitted.
  • With all bars fitted, the roof can be squared, so that the bars are 90° from the host wall, and the Eaves Beam is parallel with the Wall Plate.
  • Once square, secure thoroughly with second fixing on each bar end.

Finishing Touches

  • Ensure the Support Posts are plum, and secure them to the concreate base with bolts through their feet.
  • Raise or lower the posts over their feet to achieve the desired gutter level, then fix in place with screws.
  • Position the Sheet End Trim over the end of the Glazing Bars and screw into place.
  • Silicone can be used to seal screw fixings. Apply a small amount around each screw port before fixing with screw and cover cap.

Suggested tool list: Power Drill/Driver, HSS Drill Bits (3mm/7mm/8mm), Masonry Bits (6mm/8mm), Silicone Gun and Neutral Cure Silicone, Spirit Level, Mallet, and Step Ladders.
