Description

Fullex XL 45 Dual Centre Case Gearbox

(Dual spindle with 45mm backset)

Strong and durable replacement gearbox for PVCu and aluminium, single and double doors. Suits offset lever/pad handles with 92/62PZ, and 45mm backset. Also suits a 92PZ single spindle. This genuine Fullex part features a reversible latch for left and right-handed doors.

Problems with door locks are most often resolved by replacing the backset centre case, rather than the whole mechanism. This saves money, and in requiring removal of just a few screws, it saves time too.

Features & Benefits

  • Designed for offset lever/pad and lever/lever handles
  • Can also be used with inline 92PZ handles
  • Fits dual 92PZ and 62PZ measurements
  • 45mm face plate to spindle centre offset
  • Corrosion-resistant passivated mild steel and zinc
  • Strong Dacromet-coated A3 sintered steel hook
  • Reversable latch for left and right fitting
  • Supplied with 10-year guarantee

Part of the Fullex XL door lock range, which is designed for maximum security and reliability. The XL door locks are suitable for PVCu and Aluminium doors with one piece, or individual keep sets, and feature three opposing steel hooks, two steel anti-lift bolts, and the option of roller cams for compression and smooth operation. Fullex XL faceplates come with a high security anti-drill plate, and a hold back snib, which allows the latch to be held back when free flowing access is required.

Did you know? All Fullex locking systems are PAS24 capable, Document Q compliant and are registered under our Secured by Design licence.

How to choose the right backet

You should choose a centre case that works with your handle spindle type, and with a matching backset size. Backset size is the measurement from the centre of the spindle/euro cylinder hole to the front of the edge of door faceplate that the centre case sits behind. Spindle type refers to the spindle[s] of the handles that will engage with the centre case. Spindle options include, single, inline split, and dual for offset handles.
