DID YOU KNOW? Acrylic sheets offer greater clarity, better weather resistance, and are cheaper than solid polycarbonate sheets. But solid polycarbonate sheets have the upper hand in terms of strength, and fire safety. Acrylic burns with difficulty, generally requiring a continuous flame, and will tend to extinguish itself without flashover fire conditions. However, if high impact strength and fire safety is important for your application, it may be worth considering the stronger, fire rated PALSUN UV2 solid polycarbonate sheets.
